Barry completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, where he earned his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He went on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic post-graduate degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) with clinic honours distinction. There, he developed a keen interested in patient-centred care and looking at the patient as a whole rather than solely at the injury. The goals of his treatment plans are to find the source of the pain without chasing it and to deliver a collaborative patient-doctor experience. He concurrently completed his certificate in Medical Acupuncture at CMCC and has continued his post graduate education as a certified Rock Blades soft tissue provider.
Barry has been involved as the High Performance Director/chiropractor as well as a head coach for the Richmond Hill Thundercats Volleyball club. He also held a teaching position as a Physiology and Anatomy Instructor to Registered Practical Nursing students at Seneca College.
In his spare time, Barry enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, playing beach volleyball, hockey, golf, and enjoying the outdoors whenever he gets the chance. He loves the electric vibe that comes with living in Toronto while getting the chance to experience the great food and culture that the city always offers.
